Welcome

The Jewish Community Book Fair and Cultural Arts Season offers is a series of Jewish content cultural arts programming in area venues. Our 44th Annual Book Fair presents prominent and emerging authors of both fiction and non-fiction publications of interest to our community. Our guest authors will address values of Judaism, Jewish history, Israel, the Holocaust, prayer, food, family and the unique phenomenon of modern Jewish culture. In addition to our accomplished authors you will also enjoy three musical programs and a film brought back by popular demand from the 2010 Buffalo International Jewish Film Festival.

We are always grateful for the guidance we receive from the Jewish Book Council and the support of the Jewish Book Council network a community of Jewish Book Festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada (www.jewishbookcouncil.org).

Programs and receptions are sponsored, co-sponsored or hosted by the Jewish Community Center, local organizations and agencies, businesses and individual donors committed to supporting Jewish Cultural Arts programming. We thank all of our supporters.

At all author events, books are sold by Talking Leaves…Books and a percentage of sales are donated to Book Fair. We thank Jonathon Welch, proprietor of Talking Leaves, for handling book ordering and sales (www.tleavesbooks.com). We greatly appreciate the efforts of our “Webmacher,” Joe Davis. Joe is Executive Director of Hillel of Buffalo and owner of WebStuff (www.webstuff.org).

Please visit www.jccbookfair.com for links to author and entertainer websites. The Book Fair site also includes People of the Book acknowledgements, additional sponsor logos and more. Enjoy!
